Add Button or List Messages to Autoresponder Replies

Very often you want to send out button messages or at least list messages when users text you, so that you can send them to your chatbot for self-service. To insert button or list messages as your autoresponder message, follow the steps below.

Button Message

For button message, it needs to be sent out in this format.

text message _^button name 1_button text 1_https://urllink.com_^_ _^button name 2_button text 2_^_ _^button name 3_button text 3_^_

text message refers to the main text message

button name refers to the name of the button (it is an identifier and not shown to the user)

button text refers to the button text (not important if using URL or Phone, replace the other button name and text as required)

https://urllink.com refers to the URL link of the first button. You can have up to 3 URL link buttons

You can send up to 3 buttons in a message.

List Message

For list message, it needs to be sent out in this format.

text message _*title|footer text|button text|menu name>item name 1_item title 1_description 1>item name 2_item title 2_description 2*_

text message refers to the main text message

title refers to bolded text that appears on the top of the main text message

footer text refers to the grey text that appears below the main text message

button text refers to the button text

menu name refers to the menu name (menu name is an identifier and not shown to the user)

item name refers to the item name (item name is an identifier and not shown to the user)

item title refers to the item title

description refers to the item description

Adding Button or List Message

Enter your button or list message into the autoresponder text field, and it will reply with a button message.
